This is Jack, our new kitten. He's almost 3 months old and we ended up adopting him from the local humane society. He's very curious and playful; he kept us up last night leaping all around the bed trying to "catch" anything that moved!
This is Cleo, our 8-year-old woman-of-the-house cat.
There is no picture of them together yet, because Jack gives Cleo an extremely wide berth and does not go near her if he can help it. This is because Cleo seems to enjoy chasing him down, hissing, and swatting at his tiny head as if to say "Get the hell out of my house, you little rat!"
I am confident (well, hoping, anyway) that this passes and they work out their relationship peacefully in the next few days or weeks. We just brought Jack home last night and we didn't expect Cleo to be best friends with him immediately. Still, it would be nice if she didn't terrorize the poor little guy.
