The late great Mitch Hedberg said "I know how hard it is stop smoking; it's as hard as it is to start flossing." Having both quit smoking and attempted to start flossing (both numerous times) I can say that he, in his infinite wisdom, was right.
I take decent care of myself in other respects. Certainly I brush often. I brush several times a day, many more than the recommended two times. Why in the world is it so hard to spend the extra 5 minutes to floss?
